Sherry Yan SHSAT Scholarships for Exemplary Teens 2024
2024 will be the 9th year of the Sherry Yan SHSAT Scholarships for Exemplary Teens.  

These scholarships have been created in an effort to provide more opportunities for high achieving rising 8th graders to receive test preparation services for the SHSAT exam, and ultimately be able to get into a specialized high school of his or her choice. We will be dedicating 10 scholarships in the amounts of $1000 (1 applicants), $500 (3 applicants) and $200 (6 applicants) towards SHSAT tuition from A+ Academy for either the summer or fall of 2024 program.

Through these scholarships, we hope to identify motivated, high achieving students who could really make the best use of this opportunity.  We recognize the importance of getting into a good high school for the students in our community and hope to provide that opportunity to those who would otherwise not be able to receive it. These scholarships are open to all 7th graders.
